SBUL HAT Tournament - Feb 4th

The SBUL tourney for Saturday February 4th is officially a HAT tournament. So teams will be randomized and you must wear a hat! Make sure you wear a really cool hat, because there will be something special for said hat wearers!

The tournament will again be at Marijane Hamann Park, San Jose. First pull at 10 AM, but try to arrive by 9:30 AM, so you can find out what team you are playing with!

Make sure you bring a white and dark, so you can mix with your team appropriately. There will be food and water at the fields, but make sure you bring a water bottle!

RSVP to your captain/manager as soon as you can!

SBUL Tournment #2 - Feb 4th

If you haven't heard already, the 2nd SBUL tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Feb 4th. So mark your calendars and let your captain/managers know if you can make it!

Remember to sign your 2012 USAU waiver

USA Ultimate has begun the renewal process for 2012 so you can now login to your account and complete the waiver for 2012. If you paid for a 2012 membership through SBUL, you should see that your account is current through 2012. If you paid the event fee, you just need to complete the waiver, no need to make any payment (and you will probably see that your account expiration date is 1/1/1971 but that is just a code we use for players who pay the event fee).

First SBUL Tournament details

The tournament will be located at Marijane Hamann Park. If you'd like a specific address, you can use 1150 North Central Ave, San Jose, CA 95128. It is a residential area, so park along the streets anywhere nearby.

First pull will be at 10 AM. So show up early to get your cleats on and warm up a little bit. You have lots of playing to do! The plan is to play at least 3 full games, hopefully 4 (as in a championship).

Bring your jersey, along with a white and dark, in case we have to combine with another team. Gray is neither, so don't bring a gray por favor.

There will be tournament food, as in bagels and bananas, along with water. Don't forget to bring your own water bottle!!

The forecast says it will be sunny and cool on gameday. There is a slight chance the fields may be closed due to whatever rains happen during the week. You will be notified ASAP if that happens.

Be sure to RSVP with your captain/manager if you'll be playing!
