Final SBUL Tourney, Saturday March 30, 11AM - 4PM

Hello!

We are having our final tournament on Saturday, March 30, at Watson Park in San Jose (the mega nice fields). We'll be playing from 11 AM to 4 PM.

It is currently planned as a hat tournament (mixed up teams), but if we get a tremendous response across teams, we could flex into a team tournament.

SBUL Tournament #1

The first tournament will be at Watson Park, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There will be tournament food provided, but bring your own drinks! Some teams will be combined due to expected low attendance.

We have replacement fields (for now)! We are going to play on Tuesday Night at 8:15pm-10:00pm. Bring a WHITE and DARK shirt!

If you look it up on your mapping solution, it will lead you to the South Entrance on Jackson and 22nd. I would not suggest that entrance. I would recommend entering at Taylor and 23rd, the North Entrance. It is closer to the actual field entrance.

The field entrance is on the East side of the complex, so I'd suggest parking there.

As far as driving, traffic can be heavy on the 101, but it should have mostly dissipated by the time we play.

We are tentatively scheduled at Watson until we know about what's going to happen at Calabazas. Please provide us with feedback. I personally checked out the complex, and it is beautiful. The fields are wonderful, the lighting is great. The location can be a bit inconvenient, but hopefully, we can make it work.

11/13 & 11/15 games are cancelled

Hi SBUL,

We got notification that last week, someone vandalized the lights at Calabazas Park. Essentially, someone went in and stole the copper wiring.

The city has offered us some alternative parks but they are not quite the same size as Calabazas. So, rather than cause a bunch of confusion in terms of where to go and when, staff has decided to cancel all games this week.

When we hear more, we will update you.

SBUL calendar issues resolved

Hi SBUL,

In resolving the calendar inconsistencies, we fixed the front-page widget so that it matches the calendar. The original calendar page remains unchanged. So, you should be unaffected if you downloaded the calendar links already.
